4TH IN STATE!!!!

I am so freaking elated right now. I seriously couldn’t believe it when they called Westview as fourth. Salem schools always monopolize the top 5, so I was so freaking happy just to place. I really wasn’t expecting it; I wasn’t even expecting to place in top 10 this year. So proud of this choir right now. I FREAKING LOVE CHOIR!!!!!

STRESSED OUT with a side of senioritis

Sent in my $400 deposit yesterday to…….. University of Portland! It wasn’t my first choice school, but I wholeheartedly believe that I’ll enjoy my time at UP. On a side note, I have yet to send in my financial aid verification forms so the stress isn’t over yet. Not to mention my mom forgot to turn in my intent to enroll to the post office today, so technically it’s late… but I called UP and fortunately since the deposit was paid on time I have nothing to worry about. 

I JUST WANT TO GRADUATE NOW. But I still have a lit essay I’ve been putting off, state for choir, AP tests, finals…yay.

I wish post-secondary schooling was free.

I got my acceptance letter from UW today.

I guess I was freaking out because I really thought I wouldn’t make it. The 50% acceptance rate for a public school like UW made it seem like it was impossible for me to get in. I’m no super genius; I didn’t do a ton of extracurriculars, I did a minimum amount of volunteer work, and my SAT score was nothing to brag about. I guess god was just looking out for me. Feeling thankful right now. But I still doubt I’ll end up going there. 

Sometimes I’m too controlling. Gotta learn how to let things take their course.

Sometimes I can’t help but feel disappointed in myself.

I don’t know why I stay up for no apparent reason.

I didn’t buy a cap and gown for graduation before the deadline so now I have to pay extra :( Why is it so freaking expensive?! I’m only going to wear it once.
